According to the approved resolution, the NABC recognized the expansion on non-tribal commercial gaming within the state of Wyoming has had a detrimental effort of the gaming enterprises of the Northern Arapaho Tribe, and that the NABC intends to expand services and add new amenities to stay competitive within the Wyoming Gaming Market and that the NABC authorizes the sale, service and consumption of alcohol withing the Wind River Hotel and Casino. The Northern Arapaho Business Council on May 12 th approved a resolution authorizing the Wind River Hotel and Casino to sell and to serve alcohol on a vote of 4-0 with two members absent. The application was signed by CEO Patrick Leckrone and CFO David McElroy. If granted, it would be the first liquor license allowed on the Wind River Reservation in many decades.Īccording to the application filed with the county, being sought is a bar and package liquor license. The Fremont County Commissioners will meet Tuesday at the courthouse in Lander with only three items on the agenda, including a request from Northern Arapaho Enterprises, doing business as the Wind River Hotel and Casino, for a retail liquor license.
